The fourth edition of the increasingly popular festival runs from June 15 to 18, and includes more than 50 events at 15 venues in and around the city’s Maritime Quarter.
The Dylan Thomas Theatre and the nearby Dylan Thomas Centre (don’t get them confused, as I did last year!) host the main ticketed concerts, while a range of free concerts, performances, and workshops take place in the area.
Friday’s highlights include Joe Stilgoe (son of Sir Richard) performing Songs on Film, and a tribute to the late Stan Tracey, led by his son Clark Tracey.
Saturday’s line-up is headlined by Jamaican-British soul and R&B singer Ruby Turner and her band.
And on Sunday, the big shows include the Chris Ingham Quartet playing the jazz of Dudley Moore, before the musicians of TV’s Strictly Come Dancing perform the music of Earth, Wind and Fire, as a 14-piece band known as All Fired Up!
